My background
I deeply understand the job application and interviewing process through having handled full-cycle recruitment with multiple organizations. I’ve hired interns to director-level talent, and everything in between. Throughout my career, I’ve visited many colleges and universities attending portfolio reviews, job fairs, leading workshops, etc. I’ve also participated in industry-wide events to network, interview, and connect with stand-out talent. I get excited to share my expertise with friends, family, students, and peers, enlightening them on the insider knowledge of the recruiter’s undertaking and the steps it takes to land the job.
I’ve had experience hiring within the following departments:
creative (art direction, copywriting, content creation)
design (graphic, branding, motion, spatial/experiential, UX/UI)
strategy (brand, media, comms)
social media and digital
account management
project management
production (video, digital, post, integrated, editors)
media planning
new business
human resources, operations, & admin
I genuinely care about diversity, equity, inclusion, culture programs, conversations, and initiatives. I recognize that as a recruiter, I have the opportunity and privilege to make an impact in bringing talent to an organization. I hope to give you the tools, tips, and resources that are digestible, accessible, and more relatable than a career counselor or job center.
This is advice straight from a recruiter who is in the field speaking to candidates and reviewing resumes, portfolios, and LinkedIn all day every day. I am your modern-day career coach
